Founded by psychologist and healthy aging expert

Novapreneurs was founded by Dr. Burcu Demiray at the Healthy Longevity Center, University of Zurich, Switzerland. Dr. Demiray is a lifespan developmental psychologist, healthy aging expert, and senior scientist at the Department of Psychology and Healthy Longevity Center at the University of Zurich. Her expertise is on midlife development and healthy aging. With almost 20 years of experience across leading universities in Europe and the United States, her work explores how adults learn, adapt, and thrive across longer lives.

Through her research and leadership, Dr. Demiray has developed innovative approaches to lifelong learning, the evolving nature of work, and the role of technology in shaping future careers. She bridges academic rigor and real-world application, translating insights from psychology into practical solutions with societal impact. Her work supports her vision that later-career life can be one of the most creative, generative, and entrepreneurial phases of all.
